Bertha Frances (Brumett) Dupree

Bertha Frances Brumett Dupree, 79, of High Point, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at the Meridian Center.

Born January 9, 1942, in Bristol, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Worth Brumett and the late Lola Martin Brumett.

She is survived by her son, Marty Dupree of Thomasville; daughter, Penny Miller and husband Mark of Jamestown; sisters, Gina Wallace and husband Eddie of Salem, Virginia, and Shirley Thomas of Roanoke, Virginia; grandchildren, Ashley Alderman, Jamie Gardner (Tim); great-grandchildren, Kenneth Gardner, and Ashlyn Gardner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad Lee Dupree; brothers, Freeman Brumett, Troy Brumett, Lee Brumett, and John Brumett; sisters, Myrtle Easter, and Zena Phillips.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, September 24, 2021, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to the service.
