Becky Jones

Rebecca Smith Jones, 81, of Thomasville, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born October 18, 1940, in Guilford County, she was the daughter of the late William Frank Smith and the late Lona Gertrude Bryson Smith. Becky was a retired automotive title clerk.

She is survived by her son, Danny Jones; daughters, Terri Hilton and husband Scott, and Sandy York and husband Brad; brothers, Jack Smith and wife Patsy, Wayne Smith, and Butch Smith and wife Dee; grandchildren, Josh Hilton and wife Luci, Nena Moreno and husband Sergo, and Marcus Smith and wife Savannah; and eleven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Red Jones, and grandson, Daniel Jones.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 13, 2022, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point with Rev. C.W. Moss officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to the service.
