Barbara Black Smith

Barbara Black Smith, 67, of Thomasville, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020, at High Point Medical Center.

Born January 16, 1953, in Guilford County, she was the daughter of the late William Lindsey Black and the late Viola Boyles Black.  Barbara worked as an optical assistant.  She was a kind, sweet, and true servant who loved her boys.

She is survived by sons, Eric C. Smith of the home, and Jeremy A. Smith (Allison) of Archdale; brothers, Phillip Lindsey Black of Thomasville, and Richard (Dickie) Black (Leessa) of High Point.

Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 PM Thursday, August 6, 2020, at the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with the Reverend Jim Summey officiating.

The family will visit with friends following the service.
