Barbara Mae Gainey

Barbara Mae Gainey, 55, of Jamestown, passed away, Thursday February 11, 2021, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born August 21, 1965, she was the daughter of the late James Henry Gainey Sr. and the late Frances Davis Gainey. Barbara worked at River Landing for over thirty years. She graduated from T. Wingate Andrews High School, in the class of 1983.

She is survived by her daughter, Dionne Dines (Andre) of High Point; brothers; Jesse L. Gainey Sr. (Rose), James H. Gainey Jr., both of High Point; sisters, Shelba Morton, Anna Gainey, Linda Horne (Mark), Delores Harp (Grady), all of High Point; grandchildren, Amaya Dines, and Adrionna Dines; and a host of nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 20, 2021, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with the Rev. Prentice Jeffcoat officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
