Barbara Jane (Crowell) Patterson

Barbara Jane Crowell Patterson, 83, of Greensboro, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Heritage Green.

Born January 28, 1939, in Gastonia, NC, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Oliver Crowell, Sr, and the late Elizabeth Long Crowell.  Barbara worked as secretary and dealers registration for Greensboro Auto Auction.  She was also a member of First Methodist Church in High Point.

She is survived by a stepdaughter, Tammie Murphy of Greensboro; and a brother, Herbert Oliver Crowell, Jr, of Lenior.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roy Gene Patterson and son Donald Sparrow.

A private family inurnment will be held at First Methodist Church.
