Barbara "Bobbi" Cecil Campbell, 91, of High Point, passed away peacefully, Monday, October 7, 2024, at her home.

Born in Guilford County on May 26 1933, to James Leonard Cecil and Elizabeth McLeod Cecil...their firstborn. She was a 1951 graduate of Jamestown High School and held lifelong affection for her time there. Bobbi worked at Western Electric for more than three decades where she formed lifetime friendships.

She was chosen to represent their Greensboro location as Miss Hello Charley in 1954 and served as 2nd Vice President of the Wenoca Club during the 1970's. For several years she sang in the firm's annual Christmas choir; she had a beautiful voice. Bobbi was a good dancer, loved Christmas and she loved the beach. She loved her family and friends, enjoyed reunions, and she always loved dogs...Pete, a white spitz, was her first when she was still a girl. She was a member of Oak View United Methodist Church for many years and was active with the United Methodist Women.

Bobbi is survived by her daughter Cindy, her brother Larry Cecil, her sister-in-law Joyce Cecil; nieces Teresa Campbell, Lisa Kennedy, Joy Marcantel, Jill Cecil and Laura Rizos; nephews Larry, David, Alan and Steven Campbell, Dean Campbell, and Mark Cecil.

In addition to her parents, Bobbi was predeceased by her husband Earl, her son Pat, and her brother Dan Cecil; by her sisters-in-law Marty Cecil, Medie Krahl, Lucille Campbell & Sarah Campbell; and, by brothers-in-law Wallace Campbell & Harland Campbell, Ed Krahl.
