Barbara Jean Bingham

Barbara Jean Anderson Bingham, 94, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2025, at Moses Cone Hospital.

Born October 2, 1931, in Winston Salem, NC, she was a daughter of the late Charles Anderson and the late Sally Adams Anderson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob Bingham; son, John Bingham, daughter, Bobbie Bingham, brother, Gilliam Anderson, and sisters, Marie Justice, Dot Myrick, Edith Copple, and Wilma Wilson.

Those left to cherish her memory; son, Steven Bingham and wife Deborah of Jamestown; grandchildren, Christopher Bingham, Caitlin Allegrezza and husband Danny, and Nic Sillmon; great grandchildren, Stevie Sillmon and Dylan Sillmon; sister-in-law, Betty Daniel; many nieces and nephews; and her special friends Sharon Skeen (Dolan) and Marilyn Forster (Jim).

Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Saturday, January 24, 2026, in the Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point Chapel.

A reception will follow in the Reception Room at the funeral home.

The family will receive friends 10:00 AM-10:45 AM prior to the service.

Burial will be 2:00PM Saturday at Oaklawn Cemetery in Asheboro.
