Clarence “Banks” Koontz, Jr., of High Point, passed away Friday, March 27, 2026, at High Point Medical Center.
Born July 24, 1951, in High Point; he was a son of the late Clarence Banks Koontz, Sr., and the late Frances Goodson Koontz.
He was a member of Laurel Oak Christian Church and retired from Food Lion grocery stores.
Left to cherish his memory, his daughter, Heather Bennett; sister, Carolyn Koontz Greene; niece April Brown and great niece Nikki Crisco.
Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Laurel Oak Church; 1001 Old Plank Rd, High Point, with Pastor Allen Brown officiating.
Burial will be at Floral Garden Memorial Park cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45AM prior to the service.
Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point, is in charge of the arrangements.
