Antoinette Gallardo Pullen, 65, of High Point, passed away Monday, December 27, 2021, at her home.
Born March 23, 1956 in Syracuse, New York, she was a daughter to the late Alfredo Gallardo and Shirley McGinnis Gallardo. Antoinette was married to the late David Robert Pullen for 9 years before his passing in 1983. She was a dedicated, stay at home mother to her two children until her husband’s passing. She took on the role of both mother and father after that and worked many jobs to provide for them. She moved to NC in 1995 and later worked for Hayward industries as a supervisor until 2016. Antoinette faced many health challenges over the last six years including 3 years of dialysis, vision loss and being the survivor of a kidney transplant in December of 2019. Through all of her challenges, she kept a positive outlook and was so thankful for her transplant and the time it gave her. She loved spending time with her children and spoiling her grandchildren who meant the world to her.
She is survived by a son, Corey Pullen (Holly) of Duncan, SC; daughter Tami Silva (Brian) of High Point; brothers, Al Gallardo (Jeanne) of NY, Cisco Gallardo of NY, and Ray Gallardo of NY; sister, Tisha Kowalik (Mickey) of NY; grandchildren, Brianna Pullen, Trinity Pullen, Caleb Pullen, Kylie Pullen, Kennedy Pullen, and Emma Silva.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Pancho Gallardo.
