Annie Sue Pedersen

Annie Sue Staley Pedersen, 97, of High Point, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025, at the Hospice Home of High Point.

Born April 27, 1928, in Wilkes County, NC, she was a daughter to the late Hamilton David Staley and the late Nora Ellen Brown Staley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Blaine Hamilton Staley, and Oscar James Staley; and her sisters, Sadie Snyder, Agnes Staley and Olena Gulledge.

Mrs. Pedersen loved the mountains of North Carolina and was an avid reader.

Those left to cherish her memory; her beloved husband, Edward Pedersen of the home; children, Chris Pedersen and wife Wendy, and Lisa Cutright and husband Curtis; grandchildren, Camden Cutright (Ashley), and Carson Cutright (Aiden Lefevbre); great grandson, Crosby Cutright; and nieces, Nora Vestal (Randy), and Judy Staley.

The family will hold a private memorial to celebrate Mrs. Pedersen’s life.
