Anna Ruth Harris Stokes, 86, of Greensboro, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at Camden Place Health & Rehab.
Born April 2, 1930 in Anniston, AL, she was a daughter of the late Mark Harris and the late Jennie Whetstone Harris. Mrs. Stokes was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Detroit, MI.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Stokes and wife Sandra of Farmington, MI; daughter, Linda Stokes of High Point; sisters, Beatrice Redwine of MI and Catherine Smith of MS; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Stokes was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Stokes; son, Ellsworth Stokes and daughter, Jennie Stokes.
Services will be held at a later date.
Wright Cremation & Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
