Sue Freeman Williams

Sue Freeman Williams, 75, of Archdale, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 26, 2026, at her home.

Born May 4, 1950, in Dobson, NC, a daughter of the late Porter Hawkins Freeman and the late Addie Frances Payne Freeman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Williams, son, Kenneth Cummings, and brother, Guy Freeman.

Sue was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking for others and spending time with family and friends. She would work in her flower garden and take her pup, Teddy, around town.

She is survived by her daughter, Dana Lopp and husband Mike of Lexington; grandchildren, Blair Cummings and wife Ashley, and Kristin Cummings; great grandchildren, Alexis, Ava, Ashton, Skyler, Kash and Khloe; and her sister, Faye Jenkins and husband Barry.

Memorial Service will be 2:00PM Wednesday, April 1, 2026, in the Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point chapel, with Rev. CW Moss officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.

Private committal will be at Floral Garden Memorial Park cemetery.
