Angela Austin

Angela Nifong Austin, 56, of Greensboro, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

She was born August 27, 1968, a daughter of the late Jerry Wayne Nifong and the late Ellenise Frazier Nifong. Angela was such a sweet, Christian lady.

Angela is survived by her husband, Mark Austin; daughter, April Papineau and husband Donny of Lexington; grandson, Matthew Papineau; sister-in-law, Teresa Baker and husband Keith; and many other family members, along with a host of friends.

She enjoyed gardening, taking evening walks and riding her bicycle. She loved animals, raising chickens and her beloved dog, “Skippy”. Her favorite times were spent in the mountains and the beach.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Pine Grove Baptist Church; 6308 Modlin Grove Rd., High Point; with Pastor Rick Byerly officiating. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to the service.
