Andrew Richard Towers

Doris and Richard Towers mourn the unexpected death of their son, Andrew "Andy" Richard Towers, (43).  He was born June 14, 1980, and died on October 18, 2023, at his home.  Andy is survived by the most important person in his life, the love of his life, his daughter, Cali Lynn Towers.  They were totally devoted to each other; they were inseparable.  He was always there for her.  The two enjoyed hiking, rock climbing, going to music concerts; they traveled around North Carolina and Virginia and went to California and Washington DC.  His world revolved around her and Andy left her a legacy that she will be able to cherish forever.

Andy had an infectious laugh, and he had great compassion and cared deeply for those close to him.  He had a wonderful way of expressing himself in writing.

In addition to his parents and daughter, he is survived by his girlfriend, Bobbi Scott, his daughter's mother, Megan F. Freeman, his aunt Joy, his uncle Jon, and his cousins and friends.

Andy enjoyed his work as an electrician and the camaraderie with his fellow co-workers at Balex Electric Co.  He was a huge fan of Nine Inch Nails and saw them in concert at least nine times.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 26th, at First United Methodist Church, 512 N. Main St., High Point, NC  27260. with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Wesleyan Christian Academy, High Point, NC; First United Methodist Church, High Point, NC; or to any charity of the donor's choice.
