Amanda Fisher Chapins

Amanda Jeane Fisher Chapins, 84, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 5, 2107, at Hospice of the Piedmont, High Point, NC after a brief fight with pancreatic cancer.

Jeane was devoted to her immediate and extended family leaving a legacy of her Faith, Love and unstoppable work ethic, retiring January 2017.

She is survived by daughters Pamela Roan and husband Dean of Winchester, VA, Gaye Janson and husband Robert of Thomasville, NC; brothers, Max Peacock and wife Norma, Harold Lynn Peacock and wife Maxine; sister, Sharon Lovell and sister-in-law Mary Iva Peacock; grandchildren Douglas and Nicole Roan, and Wesley Roan and Jennifer Everton; great-grandchildren Corbin and Evelyn Roan.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by husbands, Lloyd Fisher, Richard Chapins, and her brother, Harry Lee Peacock.

A celebration of her life will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Anthony Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Dan Patrick. Visitation will begin at 10:30. Private interment will in Woodward Township Cemetery.
