Allen Clayton Smith, 74, of High Point, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born March 27, 1943, in Savannah, GA, he was a son of the late Charles Arthur Smith and the late Lucille Jacobs Smith.

Mr. Smith is survived by his son, Allen Clifford Smith of Raleigh; brother, Vance Smith of High Point; niece, Gwen Shell; and nephew, Tim Suits.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in the Gathering Room of Wright Cremation & Funeral Service with Rev. Frank Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
