Alice May Swank, 76, of Trinity, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016 at Hospice House at High Point.

Born September 2, 1939 in East Mauch Chunk, PA, she was a daughter of the late Robert David Swank and the late Ada Elizabeth Searfoss Swank. Miss Swank was a US Air Force veteran serving at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita, TX. She was a licensed practical nurse taking loving care of her residents for many years at Westchester Manor.

Miss Swank is survived by her best friend, Glenda Whitehead of the home; sisters, Joan S. Parker of Colfax, Constance S. Mares of Florissant, MO and Ruthmary Grant of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Arthur T. Swank of Jim Thorpe, PA and her canine companion, Aponi.
