Aleida Hernandez Rodriguez

Aleida Lusia Hernandez Rodriguez, 89, of High Point, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024, at her home.

Born December 22, 1934, in Cuba, she was the daughter of the late Santiago Jose Luis Hernandez and the late Natividad Maria del Carmen Rodriguez.  Aleida loved being a first grade school teacher in Cuba, in America she was a homemaker.  She loved her family, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Jesus Antonio Solar (Mabel) of Florida; daughter, Maria Elena Solar Hernandez of High Point; four granddaughters; one grandson; and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Antonio Solar Valdez.
