Aj Smith

Albert James “AJ” Smith, 75, of High Point, passed away, Thursday, November 21, 2024, at his home.

Born December 12, 1948, he was a son of the late Albert Kirk Smith and the late Evelyn Louise Hirst Smith. Albert grew up in Miami, FL and was the owner and operator of AJ Smith Shades Shutters and Blinds. He also loved all animals.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years being married since November 28, 1992, Gayle Page-Smith of the home; sons, Michael Smith (Lisa Goldberg) and Adam Tatarski (Emily Davis); daughter, Paige Tatarski; granddaughter, Michelle Smith; and numerous cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Allen Smith.

Services will be planned for a later date.
