Wesley Adam Scott, 39, of High Point, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born May 6, 1979, in Moore County, he was a son of Lassie L. “Scottie” Scott, Jr. and Annette Parson Scott of Carthage. Adam was a 2001 graduate of Methodist University and was the operations manager for Roberts Oxygen Company with fourteen years of service. He loved the gym, lifting weights, Hot Rod car and truck shows, and restoring his white 1991 Chevy Stepside. Adam and his family are members of Oak View Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of sixteen years, Jennifer Burrell Scott, sons, Nate Scott, and Mason Scott all of the home; maternal grandmother, Jean Parson of Southern Pines; and brother, Ian Scott of Carthage.

Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 PM Thursday, August 9, 2018, at Oak View Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.

A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, August 11, 2018, at the Scott Family Farm, 1241 Union Church Rd., Carthage.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262, or Oak View Baptist Church, 810 Oakview Rd. High Point, NC 27265.
