Aaron McCabe Smith, 48 of High Point, North Carolina, passed away on January 23, 2020 at Wake Forest Medical Center of High Point.

Aaron was born in Toledo, Ohio to William Ray Smith and Eileen Smith on January 12, 1972. He lived in Beaver Dams, NY and moved to Greensboro, NC at age 9. He attended Madison Elementary, Northeast Guilford Junior High and Senior High School and received his General Education Diploma. He also completed many other vocational and educational certificates from Guilford Technical Community College.  He worked as the General Manager at Pride Manufacturing Inc.  The Smith family run business of over 30 years. He was an expert welder.

Aaron loved his children and grandchildren.  He enjoyed fishing and was a tremendous golfer.  He was a mechanical mastermind and could concur anything he attempted.  Aaron was selfless and a giver of help and support to anyone that needed it. He was not a materialistic person and would give the shirt off his back or the meal on his table to someone in need. He went without countless times for the benefit of others. He was a loving Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and friend to many.

Aaron is survived by daughters, Chelsey Pearson of McLeansville and Carlie Perricelli of Bethany; granddaughters, Kate and Lily of McLeansville; parents William Ray Smith (Jean) of Trinity; Mother, Eileen Smith of Summerfield; sister, Paula Smith of Archdale; niece, Makenzie Taylor of Archdale; and aunts and uncles.

The family will receive visitors Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. (floating) at the Guil-Rand Memorial Park Cabin, 1550 NC Highway 62 West, High Point, North Carolina.
