Shep Shepherd

Wayne Edward “ Shep” Shepherd, 74, of Trinity, passed away Monday, March 27, 2023, at his home.

Born October 1, 1948, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Charles Shepherd and the late Margaret Shaver Shepherd. Shep was the owner of Shep’s Towing and Recovery.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Sykes Shepherd of the home; son, Dustin Shepherd of McLeansville; daughters, Sherri Sandage and husband Michael of Randleman, and Stephanie Cole and fiancé James Harward of Greensboro; sister, Linda Collins and husband Ken of Archdale; grandchildren, Corey Shepherd, Brandi Sandage, Ashley Agner, Christopher Childress, Victoria Myers, and  Zenada Rutledge; great-grandchildren, Shayne, Wyatt, Chrystal, Aprilia, Holden, Atticus, and Brianna.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, March 31, 2023, at Colonial Baptist Church, 6792 Welborn Rd., Trinity, NC with Rev. Mark Hollar officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to the service.
