Roger Glenn Yountz, 71, of Lexington, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020, at Accordius Nursing and Rehab.

Born July 4, 1948, in Davidson County, he was a son of the late Arthur Lee Yountz and the late Annie Mae Jarvis Yountz.  Mr. Yountz was a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years Vickie Diane Jones Yountz of the home; daughters, Tracie Lyon (Eric) and Jennifer Yountz both of Thomasville; brothers, Donnie Yountz of Southmont and Robert (Peanut) Yountz of Midway; sisters, Diane Hanes (Danny) of Reedy Creek, Sylvia Dawson (Samuel) of Goldsboro, Lois Love (Phil) of Welcome; grandchildren, Zachary Lyon, Mackenzie Lyon and Brianna Wells.

Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at Hillside Park Baptist Church, 7593 E. Holly Grove Road, Thomasville, Reverend Dale Kinley officiating.  Burial will be at a later date at Salisbury National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service.
