Robert Samuel Dunning

Robert Samuel Dunning, 80, of Trinity, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Wesley Long Hospital.

Born February 16, 1937 in Guilford County, he was a son of the late James Dunning and the late Fleta Mae Dunning. Mr. Dunning was a US Army veteran, a self-employed plumber and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

He is survived by his wife Shelby Wright Dunning of the home, two sons, Robert S. Dunning Jr. and wife Pansy of Thomasville; Garry Van Dunning and Wife Shelia of Trinity; two brothers, Roy Dunning and wife Celia and J.W. Dunning both of Archdale; sister, Juanita Conner of South Carolina; one grandson and one great granddaughter.

Funeral service will be at later date
