Joyce Boone Bland

Joyce Boone Bland, 83, of Trinity, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021, at High Point Medical Center.

Born May 7, 1937, in Greenbrier County, West Virginia, she was a daughter to the late Daniel Joseph Boone and the late Evelyn Blake Boone.  Joyce was a secretary and a member at Trinity Baptist Church, formerly a member of English Road Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Jeremy Logan Bland of Trinity; daughters, Valerie Dawn Bland of Trinity and Karla Moore of Archdale; brothers, Randell Boone and Ralph Boone (Linda) both of WV; sister, Julia Gillilan of WV; grandchildren, Jennifer Moore and Christopher Moore; great grandchild, Remington Ashburn; and sister-n-law, Loretta Oakley of Rocky Mount.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Dean Bland.
