Joseph Timothy Davis

Joseph Timothy Davis, 20, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at his home.

Born October 7, 2004, in Guilford County, he was a son of Johnny Davis and Sabra Tester Davis both of Wyoming. Joseph was a sophomore criminal justice major at Pensacola Christian College. Joseph was eager to discuss life’s most meaningful matters with anyone who would listen.

Faithfulness, a strong work ethic, and a ready smile were trademarks of his presence at the Distribution Center where he worked. His coworkers appreciated these traits as they labored alongside him, both during the semester and over the last two summers. Outside of his job and studies, Joseph enjoyed playing violin in the Campus Church orchestra on Wednesday evenings, serving with the Seville Square Christian Service outreach team on Sunday afternoons, and leading music as chorister for the Raiders collegian last fall. We take comfort in knowing that Joseph is now with his Lord and Savior.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Daniel Davis of Wyoming; sisters, Julie Cannon and husband Matthew of Nebraska, and Ashley Davis of Michigan; paternal grandparents, Bob and Ann Mabe of Sophia; maternal grandparents, Shirley and Dale Tester of Julian; nieces he loved very much, Natalie and Laura.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Natasha Davis.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, November 1, 2024, at Allendale Baptist Church with Rev. David Younger officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:30 Thursday, at the funeral home.
