Joe Allen Armentrout

Joe (JoJo) Allen Armentrout, 80, of High Point, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Westchester Manor.

Born June 23, 1942, in Guilford County, he was a son to the late Joseph Edward Armentrout and the late Mary  Ellen Bullock Armentrout.  JoJo worked at Akzo Chemical and coached little league baseball and basketball for 20 years.

He is survived by his wife, Irene Armentrout of the home; son, Billy Armentrout (April) of Winston Salem; stepsons, James Williams (June) of Lawsonville and Troy Spangler of High Point; stepdaughter, Julie Harrelson of Fairmont; sisters, Nancy Hunt of High Point and Cheryl Grogan of Kernersville; and seventeen grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Wayne Armentrout, stepson, Johnny Spangler and stepdaughter, Joan Green.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Floral Garden Park.
