Bobby Staley

Barbara Mildred Coles “Bobby” Staley, 93, of High Point, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022, at her home.

Born March 30, 1929, in Orange County, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late William Earnest Coles and the late Margaret Mae Pennington Coles. Bobby was guided by the angles, took the hand of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and entered through the pearly gates of Heaven and entered His presence. In addition to her parents, there to meet her was her husband of fifty-three years, Thomas Ray Staley; son, Gary Thomas Staley; sisters, Betty, Nancy; and brother, Richard.

Bobby is survived by her daughter, Nancy S. Rade and husband Rick of High Point; sons, Mark E. Staley of Elizabeth City, NC and Thomas J. Staley of Greenville, VA; ten grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren; and one great- great grandchild.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 22, 2022, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Wright Reception Room, located on the lower level of the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
