Ann Sessoms

Margaret Ann Sessoms, 81, of High Point, passed away Monday, December 18, 2023, at her home.

Born November 4, 1942, in Sampson County, she was a daughter of the late Vernon Lyles Moore and the late Nancy Irene Coltrane Moore. Ann worked for State Farm Insurance for thirty-five years and retired at the age of eighty from Bank of America with twenty-four years of service. She was an avid Tar Heel fan and had a wonderful sense of humor. Ann was a true Christian and was a member of Green Street Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sisters, Nancy Lovett and husband Edward of Stokesdale, and Gwen McSwain and husband Lloyd of High Point; brother, Joey Moore and wife Jan of High Point; six nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bud Moore and sister, Brenda White.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 23, 2023, in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. Brandon Ware officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to the service.
