William Arthur “Billy” Hedrick, 82, of High Point, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born June 6, 1936, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late William Franklin Hedrick and the late Georgia Irene Capps Hedrick. Mr. Hedrick was a US Army veteran and was a retired upholster with Brayton International Furniture. He was a longtime member of Pilot View Baptist Church. Mr. Hedrick was a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend, and a loyal servant to the Lord.

Mr. Hedrick is survived by his daughters, Melody Hedrick Lambeth of Archdale, Karen Hedrick Fincher and husband Paul of Thomasville, and Lisa Hedrick Goodman of Winston-Salem; sisters, Peggy Berrier of Thomasville, and Charlotte Kennedy and husband Wayne of Myrtle Beach; brother, Tommy Hedrick of High Point; granddaughters, Kathryn Fincher, Madison Goodman, Jamie Duvall and husband Travis; great-grandchildren, Adalyn and Eli Duvall.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life of sixty-three years, Shirley Glascoe Hedrick and grandson, Dustin Orr.

Services will be conducted at 6:00 PM Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Pilot View Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Summers officiating. Entombment will be private at Floral Garden Park.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
