Theodore Alexander Orr, III, 66, of Lexington, went home to Jesus on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at Alston Brook Nursing and Rehab, after dealing with many health issues.

Born on May 18, 1953, in Elkin, he was a son to the late Theodore A. Orr, Jr. and the late Anita Bocholis Orr.

Daddy was loving, funny, comical, and was always there if anyone needed help. He always loved everyone and just wanted them to be happy. He was a daddy, pops, son, brother, grandfather, and papal, but most importantly he was a friend to anyone who he met or knew.

Ted is survived by his daughters, Christy D. Lambert and Mary Beth Orr; son, Issac Orr; sister, Mary Ann Orr Minor; brother, John S. Orr; grandchildren, Hannah, Heather, Jasmine, Ryan, Ava and Owen.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Anthony (Tony) A. Adams and Robert (Bobby) C. Orr.

Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, September 27, 2019, at Jamestown United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Latimer officiating. Inurnment will be at Salisbury National Cemetery.

Dad, you will be missed. We love you, Always and Forever, until we meet again……
