Richard Marvin Smith, 73, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born April 11, 1946, in Guilford County, he was the son of the late Edna Frittz. Mr. Smith was a US Army veteran and worked in construction sales.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Stewart Smith of Jamestown; son, Ty Owens and wife Emily of Davidson; and grandchildren, Hayley Owens, and Mia Owens.

The family will have a private service at a later date.
