Rev. Ronald Max Adams

Rev. Ronald Max Adams, 80, of High Point, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
Born January 13, 1939, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, he was a son of the late John Adams and the late Ruth Barcus Thornton. Rev. Adams served in the US Navy Reserve and served the Lord in Christian Ministry for forty years.
He is survived by his wife, Miriam Hain Adams of the home; son, Ronald W. Adams and wife Jennifer of Summerfield; daughters, Evangel Trent and husband Richard of High Point, Jennifer Gaskill and husband Lance of Minnesota, and Ronda Howard and husband Charles of New York; brothers, Gerald Adams, John Adams, Gary Adams, and Dale Adams; sister, Joyce Barber; grandchildren, Nathan Trent, Sydney Trent, Grace Schroeder, Adam Gaskill, Miles Gaskill, Shane Howard, Sarah Howard, Samuel Howard, Susanna Howard, Noah Adams, and Jenna Adams.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Adams.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 30, 2019, at First Wesleyan Church with Rev. James Hain and Rev. Chris Thore officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill United Methodist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
