Patsy Ann Wheeler, 75, of High Point, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018, at Hospice Home at High Point.
Born April 10, 1943, in Buchanan County, VA, she was a daughter of the late Herman L. Wheeler and the late Daisy Pearl Barrett Wheeler. Patsy met many wonderful people through her work as a security officer at LabCorp in Greensboro, the flea markets in Thomasville and Asheboro, dances at the Rustic Frontier, and Barn Dance, customers at Al’s Restaurant, the Waffle & Egg, and all her customers and employees through the years at the restaurant she built, Pat’s Family Restaurant. She loved helping people, feeding people, laughing with friends and dancing to good music. Her generosity knew no limits, much like her love.
She is survived by her son, Samuel Cochran, II of Thomasville; daughter, Tammy Davis of High Point; brother, Jack Wheeler of Richland, VA; sister, Pamela Mullins of High Point; grandchildren, Benjamin Davis, Brian Keith Cochran, and Alexis Buckner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Keith Cochran; brothers, John Wheeler and Tommy Wheeler; sisters, Penny Long, Emilene Vandy, and Peggy Thompson; and grandson, Robert Davis.
Memorial services will be conducted at 6:30 PM Friday, December 28, 2018, at Hilliard Memorial Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends following the service.
