Nancy Louise Torborg Schneider, 87, of High Point, passed away peacefully Friday, June 28, 2019, at Hospice Home in High Point following a short illness.

Born September 1, 1931, in Westfield, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Howard Nevin Torborg and the late Anna Elizabeth Millar Torborg. For over twenty years Nancy did volunteer work at High Point Medical Center and also volunteered and was very active at First Wesleyan Church.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Schneider and wife Kimberly of Chaska, Minnesota; daughter, Laura Schneider and husband Paul Brown of Orlando, Florida; grandchildren, Justin Schneider and wife Lauren(Chicago, IL), and Jaclyn Schneider (San Francisco, CA).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne John Schneider; and son, Andrew Dean Schneider.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 18, 2019, at First Wesleyan Church. Burial will be in Salisbury National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service.
