Stephen “Matt” Matthew Parris, 23, of Archdale, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2019.

Born May 28, 1996, in Guilford County, he was a son of Tracy Parris and stepfather, Ben McAbee.

In addition to his mother and stepfather, he is survived by his grandparents, Stephen Michael Parris and Gloria Parris; brother, Brandon McAbee; sister, Mary McAbee; aunts, Stephanie Parris, and Lisa Tysinger (Tony); uncles, James Wyatt (Susie), and Stanley Hensley.

Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 PM Thursday, August 8, 2019, in the gathering room of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. Brent O’Neil officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
