Martin Dean Edwards, 62, of High Point, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born August 18, 1956, in Guilford County, he was a son of Joyce Leonard Edwards of High Point and the late Charles Stewart Edwards. Marty was employed with Elastic Fabrics of America with thirty-six years of service.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brothers, Kenny Edwards and wife Lori of Inman, SC, and Tim Edwards and wife Lesa of Greensboro; sister, Susan Edwards of High Point; and loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sons, Chad Edwards, and Chris Edwards; and brother, Mickey Edwards.

Memorial services will be conducted at 10:30 AM Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Westside Chapel, 5000 Friendly Ave. Greensboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.
