Leon Benjamin Tucker, 89, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born September 8, 1930, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Edward Tucker and the late Effie Safewright Tucker. Visually impaired all his life, he was a homemaker who took care of his family.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie McPherson Tucker of the home; sons, Brad Tucker (Michiell) of Archdale, and Charles Cole (Joyce) of High Point; daughters, Susan Tucker Smith (Bobby) of Kannapolis, Robin Tucker of High Point; son-in-law, Terry Marion of Trinity; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Tucker Marion.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 26, 2019, at the Salvation Army Corps in High Point with Major Gary Sturvivant officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service.
