Leila Joyner Wishon, 86, of Thomasville, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at Hinkle Hospice House.
Born May 31, 1933, in Wilson County, she was a daughter of the late Clyde Joyner and the late Fannie Wilson Joyner.
She is survived by her sons, George Lamm of Thomasville; Bobby Lamm and wife Darlene of Trinity, and William David Lamm and wife Rhonda of Thomasville; brothers, Clyde Joyner of Lexington, Elmer Joyner and wife Becky of Graham, and Kaney Joyner of High Point; sisters, Evelyn Joyner of High Point, and Betty Jean Stroud of High Point; grandchildren, Christy Gizinski, Jerry Rose, Robert Rose, and Nathan Rose; great-grandchildren, Darren Alford, Chandler Alford, Gage Rose, and Nathan Rose, Jr.; and great-great-grandchild, Lincoln Alford
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Wishon; son, Wesley Elbert Lamm, Jr.; daughter, Phyllis Marie Lamm; sister, Ann Joyner; brothers, C.E. Joyner; Claudie Joyner, and grandson, Robbie Lamm.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, January 10, 2020, in the mausoleum chapel of Floral Garden Park with Rev. Elmer Joyner and Rev. Steve Joyner officiating.
