Joshua David Taylor, 37, of High Point, formerly of West Virginia, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019, at his home.

Born August 4, 1981, in Charleston, West Virginia, he was the son of Angie Taylor Weeks (Tony) of High Point and the late David E. Taylor. At Capitol High School in Charleston, West Virginia, where he played football and baseball. He was a Certified Heavy Machine Operator, loved to hunt, fish and loved the Chicago Bears. Josh was employed with Triad Lawn Care, and he was a wonderful father who loved his children, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Jessica Stephenson Taylor of WV; son, David Taylor of High Point; daughters, Alexis Taylor and Paisley Taylor of WV; sister, Jessica Robinson, of High Point; two nieces and two nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Lakeview Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Doug McGee officiating.

A second memorial service will be conducted at 11:30 AM Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Garrison Avenue Freewill Baptist Church in Charleston, WV, with Rev. Larry Abshire and Pastor Mark Tabata officiating.
