Janice Chappell Bowman, 74, of Greensboro, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019, at her home.

Born January 30, 1945, in Guilford County, she was the daughter of the late Henry White Chappell and the late Elsie Faircloth Chappell.

She is survived by her companion, Kenneth Asbury of Greensboro; sons, Tony Bowman and wife Angela of Jamestown, and Darrell Pell of High Point; sister, Marlene Adkins; grandchildren, Austin Crouch, Matthew Brallier, Niki Pell, and Becky Pell; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Eugene Bowman.

Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, November 1, 2019, in the chapel of Floral Garden Park Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.
