James Rogers Booth, 85, of Jamestown, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born October 21, 1934, in Risco, Missouri, he was a son of the late James Marion Booth and the late Louise Bare Booth. Mr. Booth was a retired fireman in Pontiac, Michigan with thirty years of service, and was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church

He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Peggy Conley Booth of the home, daughter, Cindy Reinelt and husband Gary of Clarkston, Michigan; sisters, Marion Anteau, and Theresa Manion; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Stacy Storum.

Services will be at a later date.
