Glenda Faye Cooper, 62, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at Maple Grove Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents Pauline Cooper and James A. Goode, and her sister Diane Russell.

She was one of eight children. Glenda was raised and educated in Greensboro, NC, attending James B. Dudley High School. She later moved to Cincinnati OH, then to New Jersey. She returned to Greensboro in 2016.

Glenda is survived by four brothers, Leroy Cooper, Leonard Billy Cooper (Mildred), Jerome Goode (Charlynn), James Goode (Latasha); two sisters Paula Dixon and Sade Goode. Glenda had three children Robert Cooper, Chawanna Ford, and Charles Vitt, Jr.; two grandchildren Tionne Kyla Yates and Nafarriah Anderson, one aunt (Viola Glover), one brother in-law (Zear Russell), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorial services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Saturday, October 12, 2019, at Love & Faith Christian Fellowship in Greensboro.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until 12:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
